Hello, my name is Elaine. I am a Charlotte, NC based photographer. Born and raised in St. Louis, MO. I have now been a Charlotte resident since 2016. My friends and family would typically call me the "Jill" of all trades. I like to try almost everything once. And some things tend to stick with me. I've always had some type of "professional" camera. And what started out as a need for me to have an outlet from stress turned into a passion. I'm in love with photography now. It just clicked with me and I'm enjoying the ride for sure.
When I was younger, my grandmother had a Pentax camera, I would always wonder why she would have it strapped over her shoulder. It wasn't until I found the stash of photos from every possible life event that she was able to capture. At least thirty(30) thick books of family gatherings, church events, friends laughing and dancing, etc. It was pretty much a history lesson with pics.......it was then that I wanted to capture every moment and capture it in a way that someone would look back on them and remember "Oh wow, this is when....."
